“Graphic design will save the world right after rock and roll does.” -David Carson
I use Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create these projects. Click on the thumbnail below to view my works.
I designed these illustrations in my Applied Graphics class. The idea of the giraffe illustration on the left is influenced by the “Flora and Fauna” theme. The second illustration is the symbol design. I use the Chinese character “瓷”(ci,meaning porcelain) as a theme word. The third graphic is a Mandala pattern design. I used Adobe Illustrator for these three mockups and drawings.
The Pi Day poster on the left was created for the Pi Day event on March 14, 2013, at Southern Polytechnic State University.
I helped revise the second poster for a non-profit organization called Africa Heritage Foundation on Southern Polytechnic State University campus. I had an internship as a technical assistant. I did not create the original poster, but I changed all the contents and reorganized the layouts for other international events.
This postcard was designed for the 19th Senior Portfolio Open House of the English, Technical Communication and New Media Arts Department at Southern Polytechnic State University.

I created the first logo for the April Earth Day to Arbor Day event at Southern Polytechnic State University. The second logo was designed for a social media campaign called "SPSU We Were Here". Facebook link: www.facebook.com/spsuwewerehere. The third logo was designed for a bookstore in Marietta, Georgia. The forth logo, as well as the whole stationary set, was for the chiropractic center of Marietta. Tools used: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop.
The first book cover is my design for one of my textbooks, “The Ghosts of Berlin”. My idea is to use outstanding font size and style to highlight the design of the book. I redesigned the book cover of an existing book called “The Thorn Birds”. I drew a thorn bird and filled it with text effects.
The redesign of “retro art” comes from the idea of pattern design. I created the book pattern by using different color same shape to emphasize contrast. I used three different methods to design three different book cover effects. Tools used: Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
Nanda Kishor Pratibha Kosh is a non-profit organization that focuses on better school education in Nepal. Held on June 7th, 2014 in Atlanta, GA, Fund for a cause was a fundraising event that supported the stationery distribution project in Nepal. The logo on the left is the revised logo I designed for this event. The original event was called Fun for a Cause. Due to the copyright issue, the event needs to change its name and logo.
Sponsoring school lunch is another fundraising event held by Nanda Kishor Pratibha Kosh. I was helping them design the website icon on the left.
Atami Steak & Sushi, Inc offers me to redesign their Dine-in and To-go menus. The thumbnail on the left shows the finished look of their new menu. Click to view more design.
